We specialise in locating underground services across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our role is to help you find, trace and mark utilities so excavation and construction works can proceed safely and efficiently.
As Telstra-accredited copper and fibre optic locators, we use dedicated transmitting equipment to track live telecommunications networks without interrupting service. Where non-conductive pipes are present (such as PVC or concrete), we can insert a fibreglass tracer rod or Sonde to carry our locating signal, allowing us to confirm alignment and depth.
Our goal is to provide clear, on-site information so you know exactly where your critical assets are before you dig, drive piles or undertake any intrusive work.

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
For complex sites, our ground penetrating radar provides an extra level of detail. GPR can help identify non-metallic services, unknown structures and changes in subsurface conditions.
GPR is particularly useful in congested utility corridors, around critical infrastructure and where plans are out of date or incomplete.

We work to QL-B and AS 5488 “Classification of Subsurface Utility Information”. Where required, we can coordinate additional services such as potholing, non-destructive excavation, concrete cutting, traffic management and surveying (additional costs apply).

Our Fees
- Our standard fee covers travel (within agreed zones) and up to one hour on site for locating services.
- Where you have not already obtained the latest CERTLOC Plans, we can obtain the latest plans (less than 30 days old) as part of our service.
- Additional time on site, after-hours work and regional travel are quoted case-by-case.
We accept major credit and debit cards as well as EFT. 24/7 service is available, with fees adjusted for after-hours or urgent call-outs.
